Joyce Price

Joyce Price is the mother of Chloe Price in the game Life is Strange. She is the widow of William Price and a long-time resident of Arcadia Bay. She works at a local eatery called 'Two Whales Diner' and is an excellent cook. As a player, you get to meet her in the second episode of the game, "Out of Time". In 2008, her husband William died in a car accident. Joyce often blames herself for the death since she called him and asked for a ride that resulted in his car crashing. Later on she met David Madsen while working at the diner and ended up marrying him. However, she still has a little place in her house that's like a shrine, dedicated to her former husband. Chloe isn't happy with the new relationship, as she feels that David Madsen tries to be a replacement for her father. Joyce still lives in the same house from Chloe's childhood. As a mother, she is strong, loving and protective. She's very kind and hardworking, with a touch of sass. Even though Joyce and her daughter fights a lot. she wants what's best for Chloe, no matter what.
