Francis York Morgan is an FBI special agent, and the main character of Swery65's game, Deadly Premonition. Even though he solves cases in a very peculiar way, he's a very competent agent with a real talent for criminal profiling. His personality differs from normal humans with his odd mannerisms and weird morning routines (like drinking his strong morning coffee and seeing secret messages in each cup). Francis York Morgan also urges people to call him York, because that's what "everyone does".
He has a tendency to talk to a character known as Zach, someone whose existence is a mystery to him and others. Yet he follows Zach's advice, no matter what it might be.
When the story of Deadly Premonition begins, York is in the small town Greenvale. They called him there to investigate the murder of a young woman. York thinks that it might be connected to older murder investigations that he worked on, and is determined to do whatever it takes to find the last puzzle pieces and end the nightmare.
