'. The ship that Akane stowed away on was a rescue ship headed for relief from a disaster that occurred on Mars, and her beloved mother was among the rescuers. If Kuro protects Akane and returns her to Earth, her mother on Mars will die, and if she goes to Mars to rescue her, the stowaway girl will die.
