Déclic

DÉCLIC is a peaceful photography adventure focused on exploration, discovery, and interaction. Travel through a charming black-and-white world filled with villages, forests, beaches, wildlife, and mysterious characters, while searching for the perfect moments to capture with your camera. Explore three different locations, each with its own atmosphere, inhabitants, wildlife, and photography challenges. Wander freely through the Valley of Bruyère, the Forest of Kiiru, and the Beach of Stanhamn while discovering hidden corners and unique subjects. The game revolves around photography. Use your camera to frame subjects, adjust your zoom, and take pictures at the right moment. Animals react to your actions, creating special opportunities that require patience, timing, or creativity. Birds can be scared into flight, frogs can be photographed while jumping, foxes can flee when you run, owls can be awakened, and other animals have their own unique behaviors. Meet the local inhabitants and complete their photography requests. Each character asks you to capture a specific subject or moment, from a portrait of an elderly woman to a flying seagull, a sleeping cat, a threatening crab, or an entire lighthouse. Completing these requests earns stamps that can be used to unlock travel between different areas. Your photographs are stored in a personal album, allowing you to build a visual collection of your journey and revisit the moments you captured. A notebook keeps track of your active photography requests and objectives. With its minimalist black-and-white art style, relaxing exploration, reactive wildlife, character-driven quests, and photography-focused gameplay, DÉCLIC offers a calm adventure where the goal is not to fight, but to observe, explore, and capture the world one photograph at a time.

There is a small town where nothing seems to happen. At least, that is what everyone says. One morning, you arrive with nothing but a backpack, an old camera, and the desire to see something different. You have no important destination and no great mission. You simply want to travel, meet people, and take photographs. Your journey begins in the Valley of Bruyère, a quiet countryside filled with houses, fields, animals, and people who all have their own little stories. An elderly woman asks you to photograph her in her favorite hat. Another resident wants a picture of a bird in flight. Someone else has spent years trying to capture a frog at the exact moment it jumps. Each request seems small. But as you complete them, you begin to understand that every photograph means something to the person who asked for it. Your camera becomes more than a tool. It becomes a way of connecting with the people you meet. As you earn stamps from the locals, new destinations become accessible. You travel to the Forest of Kiiru, where the trees are quiet, the animals are harder to approach, and the people living there have even stranger requests. A fox runs away when you sprint. A sleeping owl wakes at the sound of your horn. A majestic deer refuses to stay still long enough for an easy photograph. Then you reach the Beach of Stanhamn. There, the world opens up into a completely different landscape. You meet fishermen, artists, and travelers while searching for the perfect shots of flying seagulls, dangerous-looking crabs, an old boat, and a lighthouse that someone has spent thirty years trying to paint properly. Slowly, your album fills with photographs. But more importantly, it fills with memories. By the end of your journey, you realize that there was never a grand mystery to solve or a final enemy to defeat. The real adventure was discovering the stories hidden inside ordinary moments. The woman with the hat. The bird taking flight. The fox running through the woods. The old lighthouse. The forgotten boat. The people who simply wanted someone to notice them. And when you finally look through your completed album, you understand the true meaning of the journey: Sometimes, the most important adventures are the ones you remember through a photograph. Your trip is over. But every picture is a little piece of it that stays with you.
