Trappist-1

A hard sci-fi colony strategy game set in the real Trappist-1 system. Mine, manufacture and build across hex-mapped planets, plan cargo runs on true orbital trajectories, and scan for rival expeditions hiding in the dark. No fleet battles. In space, physics is your weapon.

Several expeditions from Earth arrive at TRAPPIST-1 at the same time. Some come on slow ark ships carrying people and cargo, others on faster-than-light Alcubierre vessels with better technology but almost nothing in the hold. None of them know exactly what’s waiting: the system has only been studied from 40 light-years away, and the planets, resources and microbial life turn out to be different every time. Each expedition has to decide where to settle, build industry on unfamiliar worlds, and keep its population on board while rivals do the same in the next orbit. Nobody can see everything, and what you don’t detect can still hurt you. The final goal isn’t to conquer TRAPPIST-1, but to use it as a stepping stone: to build a mission to LHS 1140, the next star.
