Short anthology sound novel reinterpreting classic works for the electronic age
剧情介绍
In 1993, a video game software called "The Tell-Tale Hearts" came bundled with installation copies of SteelbianOS. There were rumours that there were messages in the static.
Marketed as a "sound novel" only a year after 1992's "Otogirisou," it became the first western usage of the genre term. But apart from scarce reports on the TLOW.com website, the game flew under the radar.
This was due to the fact most SteelbianOS users were not people who play games; the operating system was primarily used for automated robotic controls and manufacturing.
This raises several questions; why was this game bundled with SteelbianOS? Who was it made for? Who was it made by?
These are questions we'll likely never know the answer to, but the games speak for themselves. Five short stories, each based on classic works of literature. Do you dare play them and learn what the static says?
