14 Degrees East was a division of Interplay Entertainment, responsible for developing strategy games based on intellectual properties owned by the company, including Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. It was founded on March 3, 1999, under Brian Christian. The eight-year veteran of Interplay worked with the division until 2002, when he quit the company and began working for SEGA of America.
