David O’Connor is a UK‑based video game creator active during the mid‑to‑late 1980s ZX Spectrum era. He is credited as the author of Outcast (CRL Group PLC, 1987) and is also associated with Zythum (Mirrorsoft, 1986), Soldier of Fortune (Firebird, 1988), and Rainbow Islands (Ocean, 1990), including various re‑releases. While his exact roles on some titles are not fully documented, his work reflects the ingenuity and technical skill of British home computer developers of the period.
