The Omega Strain

The Omega Strain is a retro-inspired 3D arcade shooter featuring physics-based spacecraft flight, intense combat, and eight explorable polygon worlds. Inspired by classics such as Zarch and Virus, the game is powered by RetroMesh, a custom-built 3D engine, with an electronic soundtrack by Swedish artist 047.

Humanity's colonies are under threat from a mysterious alien force known as the Omega Strain. As a lone pilot, you must take control of an advanced spacecraft and fight your way across eight hostile worlds. Navigate dangerous terrain, defend against relentless enemy attacks, and confront massive alien Motherships. Survival depends on mastering your ship's flight physics, balancing thrust, gravity and momentum while fighting an enemy that shows no mercy. Eight worlds. One pilot. The fight for survival begins.
